  --- "The Scots Peerage" by Sir James Balfour Paul, 1904, page 68: "Harriot Margaret, whose articles of marriage with the Marquess of Waterford were drawn up, when she died of an inflammation of her throat at the Priory, Atanmore, 30 April 1803, in the twenty-second year of her age, and was buried at Stanmore." --- "Staffordshire Advertiser" 7 May 1803, page 4: At one o' clock on Saturday last, Lady Harriet Hamilton, eldest daughter of the Marquess of Abercorn, in the twenty-first year of her age, after a short illness, at her father's seat, The Priory, near Stanmore. She was to have been married in a few days to the Marquess of Waterford, who now remains overwhelmed with the deepest affliction.
