  Doctor of Divinity. "Hampshire Chronicle" 16 Feb 1778, page 3: Last week died, in London, the Rev. Dr. Eyre, of Botly, near this city, who was the last survivor of that most respectable family. We hear he has left his whole fortune, being very considerable, amongst his nephews and nieces, children of the late Mr. James Serle, of this city.
