SUDDEN DEATH OF DR. WALLER LEWIS.--- De. Waller Lewis, chief medical officer of the General Post Office, London, died suddenly at Whitby on Friday evening. The deceased gentleman and his family have been staying at the Crown Hotel for some time, and on Friday had completed their arrangements, and were about to depart for home. De. Lewis was himself engaged in the act of taking leave of some friends in the hotel, when he was seized with apoplexy. Medical aid was immediately procured, but the patient never rallied, and at ten o'clock the same night he breathed his last. Deceased was about 60 years of age.
