Notes - Recieved £1,000 pounds in the 1718 will of his mother, Hester Acton. The money was given to brother Edward who was to manage it and use it for the support of Matthew during "his natural life". But if Matthew ever tries to use the money for someone else or give any of it to someone else, then the £1,000 goes to Edward.
