(1) Left: paper copy of a pastel of a be-turbaned Lady Charlotte when she was a very young girl.

(2) Right: A snapshot of Lady Charlotte, taken at Branksome Dene in Bournemouth, October 1894 (2-3 months before she died). She is on the patio knitting one of her famous red scarves (or comforters, as she called them).

* 1) As a young girl.
2) As an old lady in October 1894 (died at Canford, Wimborne, Dorset, Jan 15th 1895); married 1st Sir John Guest (d. 1852) and 2nd (1855) Charles Schreiber MP who died 1884. Her daughter Constance Rhiannon Guest married the Hon Charles Eliot. Her (Lady Charlotte) eldest son was created Lord Wimborne and his eldest son created Lord Ashby St Legers.
