Pen-and-ink sketch drawn by Montague Charles Eliot in September 1893. On 12 Sep 1893, Port Eliot hosted a grand three-day Bazaar in aid of the St Germans Church restoration. Monty's brother, 15-year-old Eddie (Edward Granville Eliot), performed "wonders in photography" to raise money for the charitable cause. The drawing was captioned by Monty: "E.G. Eliot. Photographer. Photographs taken cheaply with all despatch at his studio near to the 'Ye Dolles Howse'." This piece may have been used as a Poster or Flyer at the time of the Bazaar, too, and hung on the grounds to advertise Eddie's "services".
